Terms of Use

Kodie helps you bring digital creations to life with AI, including videos, images, webpages, and apps. These terms explain responsible use and what to expect from the current early-access service.
1. Review what you build
AI-generated code can contain errors, security vulnerabilities, or material subject to third-party rights. Review and test your creations before publishing them or relying on them. Kodie does not guarantee that a creation will work correctly, be secure, or fit a particular purpose.
2. Use Kodie responsibly
Keep your account credentials secure. Do not use Kodie for illegal activity, phishing, malware, unauthorized access, or infringement of others’ rights. Only one free account is allowed per person. Do not create or use additional accounts to claim extra free credits, free-tier benefits, or bypass usage limits, including through different email addresses or identities. Duplicate or abusive free accounts may be suspended or closed, and associated promotional credits may be revoked. Do not interfere with the service. Access may be restricted to address abuse or security risks.
3. Your content and data
You retain the rights you already hold in your uploads and code, and must have permission to use material you submit. You permit Kodie to process that material to provide the service. Generated output may not be unique; third-party software and assets remain subject to their own licenses.
4. Privacy and third-party AI services
Kodie does not sell your personal information or creation content to third parties. We collect, store, and use your data to operate, maintain, and secure the platform and provide the features you request. This may involve sharing relevant content with service providers, including third-party AI model API providers, whose processing is subject to their own privacy policies and terms. Avoid submitting sensitive or confidential information, and only share data you are authorized to use.
5. Credits and charges
Credits are deducted from reported AI usage, including work that does not produce a successful result. A call already in progress may exceed the remaining balance; later calls are blocked when it is exhausted. Free starter credits are granted once. Unused credits carry over. When checkout is available, top-ups add credits after confirmed payment, and subscriptions add credits for each successfully paid subscription month. Subscriptions renew at the price shown at checkout until canceled or changed with applicable notice. Cancel future renewals through Manage billing; unused credits remain, and the free creation limit applies when paid access ends. Existing creations are retained. Test-mode checkout does not charge real money.
6. Keep a copy of important work
Previews may sleep when idle and are not a promise of always-on hosting. Creation limits apply to saved creations at a time, not your lifetime total. Deleting a creation frees a slot and removes its saved files and database. Keep your own backups; uninterrupted access and recovery of lost data are not guaranteed.
7. An evolving service
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kodie is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation or error-free results. Early-access features and limits may change. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
8. Changes to these terms
Updates will be posted here with a new date. Material changes will be brought to users’ attention, and consent will be requested where required by law. This short terms page does not replace a separate Privacy Policy or the billing terms that will accompany paid plans.
